Last week I finished moving Podsix.com off of my own personal server colocated in the depths of the XMission network and server room (not our customer datacenter downstairs) and on to a load-balanced container at Stackable.com. Stackable is pretty neat in the way it allows for multiple development environments which can be balanced over multiple server-slices or ‘containers’. In the spirit of full disclosure, I work for Stackable, but the move has really simplified my maintenance of this site. Now I don’t have to worry about babysitting the hardware, and I can make changes to my server (which I still use for other things) without it potentially taking this site down.
